Payment Terms & Conditions

1. Payment Methods

SAM DENNEHY accepts the following payment methods:

• E-Transfer (Interac)
• Credit/Debit Cards
• PayPal
• Bank Transfer
• Cash (for local services)

2. Deposit Requirements

To secure your booking and begin work on your project:

• A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for all projects
• Deposit must be paid before work commences
• Deposit confirms your booking date and reserves our services
• Projects will not begin until deposit is received

3. Payment Schedule

For Video Production & Photography:

• 50% deposit upon booking confirmation
• 50% balance due upon project completion
• Final deliverables released after full payment

For Large Projects (over $2,000):

• 30% deposit upon booking
• 40% midway through project
• 30% upon completion

4. Invoice Payment Terms

• Invoices are due within 7 days of issue date unless otherwise specified
• Late payments may incur a 5% late fee after 14 days
• Projects may be paused if payment is not received on time
• Final files will not be delivered until full payment is received

5. Quote Validity

• All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
• Prices may be subject to change after quote expiration
• Quotes are estimates and final pricing may vary based on project scope
• Any changes to project scope may result in additional charges

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Client Cancellations:

• Cancellations made 7+ days before scheduled date: Full refund minus deposit
• Cancellations made 3-6 days before: 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before: No refund
• Deposits are non-refundable in all cases

SAM DENNEHY Cancellations:

• Full refund including deposit if we cancel
• We will make every effort to reschedule at no additional cost

7. Additional Charges

The following may result in additional charges:

• Travel beyond our standard service area (Burlington/GTA)
• Rush delivery requests (less than standard turnaround time)
• Additional revisions beyond what's included in your package
• Extended filming hours beyond agreed schedule
• Additional equipment or crew members requested
• Changes to project scope after work has begun

8. Revision Policy

• Standard packages include 2 rounds of revisions
• Additional revisions: $50-$150 per round depending on complexity
• Major changes to completed work may be quoted separately
• Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery

9. Delivery Timeline

Standard turnaround times:

• Photography: 5-7 business days
• Video Editing: 10-14 business days
• Full Video Production: 14-21 business days
• Rush delivery available for additional fee (50% surcharge)

10. File Delivery & Storage

• Final files delivered via secure download link or cloud storage
• Files stored for 30 days after delivery
• Extended storage available upon request for additional fee
• Raw footage/files available for purchase at additional cost

11. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

• Upon full payment, client receives full usage rights for delivered content
• SAM DENNEHY retains right to use work samples for portfolio/marketing
• Raw footage and project files remain property of SAM DENNEHY
• Client may not resell or redistribute content without permission

12. Liability

• SAM DENNEHY is not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control
• We carry professional liability insurance for all projects
• Maximum liability limited to the total project cost
• Client responsible for obtaining necessary permits/permissions for filming locations

13. Disputes

In the event of a dispute:

• We encourage direct communication to resolve issues
• Mediation may be pursued before legal action
• Disputes governed by laws of Ontario, Canada

14. Changes to Terms

SAM DENNEHY reserves the right to modify these payment terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
